This is not a “touchy-feely” course—emphasis is placed on understanding conflict, how to recognize it, and how to resolve it in a manner that benefits the people involved and the company they work for.

- Determining if a conflict is really a “failure to communicate”
- Channeling wasted conflict energy into productive work
- Understanding different personality types and how to best communicate with them
- Coping with difficult people
- Effective negotiation skills to resolve conflict
- Repairing strained or broken relationships
- The Proactivity Model for handling disruptive interpersonal conflicts
